**Pilates + Weights for Peri/Menopausal Women ** 8 Mat Spaces This new 6 week program will be delivered by Brenda, a Certified Menopause Coach and is designed for women who are peri/menopausal. At Perfect Pilates we empower women navigating peri/menopause with our new specialised Pilates & Weights Program. This Program is tailored to enhance strength, balance and flexibility. At each 1 hour class will promotes body awareness and support hormonal changes. Weight lifting during menopause is crucial for combating muscle and bone loss (osteoporosis), managing weight and metabolism, improving mental health (mood, anxiety), and boosting insulin sensitivity, with benefits seen regardless of menopause stage by gradually increasing resistance through bodyweight, bands, or weights to build strength and mobility. Over the 6 weeks we will be focusing on proper form with progressive overload (gradually heavier loads) while building strength, ensuring you achieve balanced muscle development.
